Two-tone Crochet Owl Hat with Ear-flaps

Owl from the side

Here’s my latest owl hat. I love the colors, but I’m rethinking the “tufts.” Not sure I’ll continue this method for owls. Anyhoo, I think it turned out cute. I’m also lovin’ the granny style earflaps. Thoughts or suggestions, anyone?

Hi Peggy. Thanks for stopping by. I was really struggling trying to decide how to handle the earflaps. I thought I wanted to replicate the ‘wings’ of an owl. This little burst of creativity came on rather quickly, but when I was done with the first ear, I knew it was the right decision! I think it worked out well too! Thanks for the compliment!
